A successful three-day event marked Front End of Innovation (FEI) 2025 in Boston, held in May. An energized conference felt the creative energy buzzing among the innovation community, as this year the delegation was encouraged to think outside-the-box, apply their thinking to artificial intelligence and to inspire a mindset of curiosity, collaboration and creativity.
Showgoers participated in two robust innovation roundtables, one focused on the Rogue Mindset and one on applications of AI. The FEI Honors event and the FEI Startup Competition further inspired the attendees. The community spent time on a wide variety of general keynote sessions, workshops, panels and more. A broad range of educational sessions were grouped by the days’ themes, which examined the role of human intelligence in innovation, the growth of artificial intelligence—and the balance of both human-centric and AI-enabled innovation. Day three also looked at the future of innovation, highlighting several key trends from quantum computing to the growth of the space industry.
For the purposes of this post-show report, we selected some of the top key takeaways from FEI 2025, from almost every session. FEI, and All Things Innovation, would like to extend our thanks to FEI 2025’s sponsors and partners, session presenters, keynote speakers, roundtable moderators, and to the show’s attendees.
