Innovation 2024

All Things Innovation brought the innovation community together by presenting an exclusive, free Innovation 2024 Workshop on April 10, 2024. Roll-up your sleeves for this interactive workshop where you’ll discover what’s working, what’s not, and what to do about it alongside fellow innovators from around the world.

Session 1:

When New Technologies Cause Great Firms To Fail

Our first session dives in to a key concept of Clayton Christiansen’s ‘Innovator’s Dilemma.’ Join this interactive discussion to solve modern-day innovator’s dilemmas around the integration of AI (artificial intelligence) into organizational systems and processes. Join us for discussion and debate and we’ll share the culmination of all of your ideas and recommendations at the end of the session.

  • What are the lessons learned from past technology strategies for disruptive technologies?
  • Doing the right thing is doing the wrong thing- what are thoughts on finding an equilibrium between spending resources testing vs. getting disrupted?
  • What are thoughts on how new methodologies assist in onboarding AI?

Speakers:

  • Liza Sanchez, VP R&D, Procter & Gamble
  • Michele Sandoval, Director of Innovation, E&J Gallo
  • Tammy Butterworth, R&D Expert

Session 2:

Net-Zero Startup Competition: Series A Founder Feature

Innovators worldwide are increasingly charged with achieving Net Zero emissions in the near term. Leading up to the FEI 2024 Net Zero Emissions Competition on June 11th in Boston, you’ll hear from two NZE Series A Founders. Both Eden’s Paris Smalls and Carbonext’s Luciano Correa da Fonseca are offering their best ideas to help support corporations on your respective net zero journey. They’ll share a bit about their offerings and themselves. They’ll also offer advice for not only FEI 2024’s seed stage competitors, but for the corporate delegation, as well. Ask your own hard-hitting questions of the start-ups alongside those of an all-star competition committee that comprises innovators from Nokia, Prologis, INL and Cornell Tech and leave with a benchmark for how your peer organizations are tackling net zero mandates.

Speakers:

  • Leslie Shannon, Head of Trend and Innovation Scouting, Nokia
  • Lisa Costello, Director, Head of Platform, Prologis Ventures, Prologis
  • Carley Hart, Director of Corporate Partnerships, Cornell Tech, Cornell University
  • Jhansi Kandasamy, Director, Net-Zero Program, Idaho National Laboratory
